About the course

In India pharmacy council of India is regulatory body of pharmacy education under its aegis diploma pharmacy course is conducted. D pharmacy is the minimum qualification for the registration as a Pharmacist. Diploma course is of two years duration. With eligibility criteria 10+2 passed with Physics, chemistry and biology (PCB) OR Physics, chemistry and mathematics (PCM) from board.

Scope

Registered pharmacist has diverse job opportunity in government semi, government , private sectors, hospital pharmacist, community pharmacist, laboratory technician in academic institution, private drug stores, industry skilled personal. Medical representative it also prepares candidate to persue own business like wholesaler, distributor, chemist and druggist, and repacking of drugs other than those specified in schedule C & C1 of D & C act 1940 and rules 1945 or may go for further studies, direct admission to second year B Pharmacy.
